BOONDI RAITA

Type of Meal

Mostly with Lunch or Dinner.

Preparation Time : 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Boondi - 1 cup
Red Chilli pd. -1/4 teaspoon
Cumin pd.[jeera] (roasted) - 2 teaspoon
Yoghurt (dahi) - 2 cups
Green chilies(chopped) - 2
Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon
Mustard oil - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste




Method

1. Beat the yoghurt first then add cumin pd, red chilli pd, green chilies, oil and salt. Mix well.
2. If yoghurt is too thick add little water to it.
3. Soak boondi in light warm water for 30 seconds.
4. Just before serving: add boondi to yoghurt, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
5. Serve Raita with rice and curry.
